Day-1
On September 25, the students of class XI were taken on a trip to Mysore and Bangalore. We started our trip in the evening from the school to Sattur Railway Station. From there we departed around 6.45 p.m to Mysore. We got on to the train with complete enthusiasm and excitement. The night travel in the train was a new experience and it was amazing by watching the countryside passby, enjoying music with friends with a little drizzle. Next day we had our breakfast in the train and reached Mysore city around 11 a.m. Then we were taken to a hotel named “Moon Palace.” We checked in there and had a quick freshen up and reached a restaurant named “Mysore Dine” for our lunch. We had a delicious lunch there. Then we headed towards the well known famous place in Mysore “the Mysore Palace.” We were amazed to see such a majestic architecture that were built years ago. We saw the King’s throne, mirrors, paintings, Darbar hall etc. The experience was purely blissful. Then we were taken to St. Philomena church which was built in 1936. The building design was just stunning. We took many photographs. Next, we moved to Brindavan Garden. We have gained more knowledge about the breathtaking garden. It is famous for well-orchestrated musical fountain show held after sunset everyday. Luckily we had the chance to witness the show and felt over the moon. It was just mind blowing. After the show, we had some snacks and reached the hotel for dinner. We had the dinner in the moonlit night stay. It was an incredible day filled with laughter, excitement and lifelong memories. Then we went to bed for our next day’s commencement.
