Day 2
The second day of our trip was filled with adventures and prayers. From hotel Moon palace we started our journey to Sri Chamarajendra Zoological garden, one of the largest zoos in India at 6 a.m. we had our breakfast on the way at Mysore Dine hotel. We reached the zoo at 9 a.m. We were excited to see all the animals. The most incident was that we saw chimpanzee very closer and it gave a punch on the glass door as it was disturbed by the people. We saw many species of monkeys, cheetah, deer, elephant in the zoo. Then we departed from the zoo for our lunch at 12 p.m. We had our lunch and continued our journey to Gol Gumbay. It was a summer palace of a king surrounded by greenery. In Gol Gumbay, We saw the memorials of Tipu Sultan’s family members. Next we moved to Sri Nimishambal temple which is situated near the banks of river Cauvery. We washed our legs in the Cauvery river and entered the temple for prayer. The speciality of the god is that if we pray the god, our difficulties will be vanished in a minute. Then we visited Sri Ranganatha Swami temple at Srirangapatna, we prayed the god and then we started our journey to Bangalore at 6 p.m. We reached Hotel Golden residency and checked in at 9 p.m. We had our dinner there in the terrace of the hotel and went to bed.
