On June 10, the students of Class X were taken on a trip to Aliyar. We departed from school at 11.00 pm. The journey began with singing devotional songs which later turned into a lively session of cine songs, creating a joyful atmosphere on the bus. We reached Maruthamalai by 6.30 am and freshened up, and had breakfast. Afterwards, we visited Isha Yoga centre where we medidated and witnessed the huge and majestic statue of Shiva. We had our lunch under the shade of tree and proceeded to GD Naidu Museum. We witnessed the foreign cars, Indian cars and science technology. Then, we went to Aliyar temple of consciousness. We had dinner and stayed overnight. On 12th morning, we took a peaceful walk around the place and took photos. After breakfast, we visited Vedantri Maharishi’s room and saw his belongings. Then we medidated and had a 40 minutes session which was about Vedantri Maharishi and individual peace. Following that, we went to Aliyar dam and enjoyed the Columbus and break dance ride there. Then we had lunch, and saw the album of Vedantri Maharishi which holds all the photos in his journey of life. We vacated our rooms and visited Amaravati dam and crocodile park where we saw real crocodiles and spent fun time playing nearby.
